Description
True wisdom is inexpressible as words are seldom sufficient. The vast experience before the wisdom dawns cannot be expressed in a few words. However, some masters have succeeded to some extent in doing so, resulting in quotations which capture the essence of wisdom.

The quotations are taken from Eastern masters with dynamic personalities who have inspired and transformed hundreds and thousands of people. Right from Buddha to Sivananda, from Zen to Bhagavad Gita, from Mahatma Gandhi to Mother Teresa, the wise words of these sages and texts have trickled down through ages propagating truth and knowledge.
Readers who may find some quotations too subtle are encouraged in the direction of quiet contemplation and occasional rereading which may bring special rewards.
