AgroTechniques of Selected Medicinal Plants- Gokshura Tribulus Terrestris L. (Vol-ll) – Root of Gokshura-Tribulus terrestris L. Vol-II belonging to zygophyllacease family is and inportant ingredient of Dashmoola. it is one such inportant medicinal plant which is highly demandable and used in Ayurveda and other Indian Systems of Medicine. the root or this plant is a ingredient ot many important formulations viz., Dashmoolarishtha, Dashmoola ghrita,Dashmoola pralepa, Dashmoola katuttayakwatha and Gokshuradikwatha. The demand of the Gokshura is 500 -1000 metric tons per year in India. To meet the address gap, it is inperative to encourage the cultivation of such medicinal plants.
