About the Authors
Dr. Gaurav Phull did his graduation and PG (MS in Shalya Tantra) from RGGPGAC, Paprata, HP. He completed Ph.D. in Shalya Tantra department from Pard University, Gujarat. He was All India Topper in the PG entrance examination in 2007. He worked as a house physician in Shalakva deptt. Paprola, HP in 2006-07. He qualified for the certificate course on “Basic Life Support in 2012 and 2023. He completed certificate courses on BeST programme for cognitive behavioral skills from Oxford University in June 2020 and Nephro-urology certificate, Professional experience- He served as an Assistant Professor at MBAC, Muktsar, Punjab in 2010-11. Afterward, he worked as a Clinical Registrar/consultant at CBPACS, New Delhi. Presently He is working as Dy. MS at CBPACS, New Delhi Professional accolades He has authored 5 Books and has many publications. He is a peer reviewer for prestigious journals like JAIM, Journal of Ayurveda and UJATM. He had been the external examiner for Ph.D. at Parul University, Gujarat and the member of Selection Committee at SGT University, Gurugram. He started a separate unit for “Marma Chikitsa and Pain Management Clinic at CEPACS in 2016, sports injuries OPD in 2022 and has visited as an expert of Marma and parasurgical procedures in many multi-speciality workshops conducted by RAV, Deptt. of Ayush & CCRAS in Delhi, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. AWARDS- Vaidya Chandra Prakash Award in October 2020, Sutra Excellence Award in January 2021, Hakeem Ajmal Khan Memorial Award by Honourable Health Minister, Delhi in 2021, VAP Excellence Award 2021, Youth Icon Award, 2021, Best Book Author Award in March 2023 and Innovative knowledge sharing and Research Award in Ayurveda 2023 and the Best paper award in the National Seminar in 2017.

Dr. Rekha Phull did her graduation and M.D in Kayachikitsa from RGGPGAC, Paprola, H.P. Afterwards, she did PGDHM from NIHFW, Munirka, New Delhi. She has completed her Ph.D. in Kayachikitsa from Parul University, Vadodara, Gujrat in February 2023 She qualified for the certificate course on “Basic Life Support” by IAP in 2012 as well as in 2024. She was the “Youngest Guest Speaker” in a national seminar held in dist. Mandi, H.P. She worked as a Lecturer in Kayachikitsa dept. at Bharat Ayurvedic College, Muzzafamagar and MLRA college, Charkhi Dadri. Presently, she is HOD and Professor in the deptt of Kayachikitsa at SGT University, Gurugram. She is a member of Academic Council and Chief Co-ordinator, Research, FIMS at SGT University. She is a reviewer of the Journal of Ayurveda, Jaipur, and ATM. She has been a resource person/guest speaker in many workshops and seminars conducted by department of AYUSH in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. She has authored 4 Books and has many publications in National and International journals to her credit. She received the prestigious Dhanwantri award from Vishwa Ayurvedic Sangathan in 2020.
