Comprehensive Technical Dossier (CTD) of Medicinal Plant used in Ayurveda- Lasuna (Allium sativum L.)

Description

Medicinal plants have been in use for a long, yet there is an impending need for systematic evidence regarding their quality, safety and efficacy in a concise form. In view of this, the Council has initiated the development of a series of “Comprehensive Technical Dossiers (CTD) of Medicinal Plants Used in Ayurveda.” Present CTD’s on important medicinal plants will provide insight for further planning of research and to avoid duplication of work. Present Comprehensive Technical Dossier on Laśuna (Allium sativum L.), an important Ayurvedic medicinal herb, to provide insight for further planning of research for the Ayush system.
